Baseball Evaluation Tryouts

Annual tryouts for the 2010 baseball season will take place Saturday, March 6 at the Seneca Valley Intermediate High School Gym from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The tryouts consist of basic throwing and fielding exercises and a few coach-pitched swings in a batting cage.

These evaluation tryouts are not intended to 'qualify' a child for a particular team or league play, but simply to help league coaches evaluate players so teams can be more evenly balanced for in-house league play. No child will be eliminated from playing.

All players are required to attend. Contact your child's league commissioner if they are unable to attend.

Times for specific age groups are...

PONY League:

age 14: 9:00 - 9:30 a.m.
age 13: 9:30 - 10:00 a.m.

Bronco League:

age 12: 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
age 11: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Minor League:

age 10: 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
age 9: 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Pee Wee League:
(Commissioner: Scott Cowell)
age 8: 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
age 7: 3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

(Qualifying age is player's age as of April 30, 2010.)

Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Tryouts will NOT be held for Tee Ball players (4 to 6-year-olds) or for players competing in Colt or American Legion. Players competing in these leagues will be notified at a later date regarding team assignments
